In Weifang, Li Qiang went to Geer Group and Weichai Group, walked into the workshops and laboratories, examined the products and components, listened to the introduction of the company, affirmed the enterprises' deep cultivation of the main business and continuous innovation, and encouraged them to concentrate on doing well the products and strengthening the technology. He stressed that the real economy is the lifeblood of our economy. We will vigorously develop clusters of advanced manufacturing industries, make coordinated efforts to transform and upgrade traditional industries and foster and expand strategic emerging industries, and move industries to the medium-high end. Li Qiang came to Jinbao Auto City, into the sales store, to understand the sales of new energy vehicles and the situation of going to the countryside. He stressed that there is a broad market space for new energy vehicles, and policies supporting purchase and use should be optimized, and infrastructure construction such as charging piles should be accelerated to further unleash the consumption potential of new energy vehicles.
In Qingdao, Li Qiang went to the demonstration zone of China-SCO local economic and trade cooperation and listened to a report on the construction of the zone. We should strive to build a new platform for international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, expand areas of cooperation, better align resources and draw on each other's strengths, and jointly forge a long board for mutual benefit. Li Qiang visited Haier Group and Hisense Group to learn about their operations and see their products and services on display. He hopes that enterprises can better adapt to user needs, carry out personalized customized services, create more competitive products, further explore domestic and foreign markets, and actively promote the industrial Internet to better empower small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the research, Li Qiang presided over a symposium and listened to the statements of the relevant departments, some cities, counties and enterprises in Shandong Province. He stressed that the key to a sustained recovery of the economy is to enhance confidence in development, do more certain things to hedge uncertainties and strive for the best results. We should focus on manufacturing, innovation, and integration, promote high-end, smart, and green development of the manufacturing sector, and blaze a new path for high-quality development of the real economy. We will use high-quality supply to lead and create demand, create more hot spots for consumption, and do a good job in featured consumption and emerging consumption. We should combine expanding domestic demand with improving people's lives, and make solid progress in developing urban and rural infrastructure and public services to strengthen weak areas.
